We do not live in “the cloud,”  We live on Earth, beneath the clouds, where life actually happens—in our neighborhoods, workplaces, beaches, highways, schools, homes, and communities.

Technology is another creative ‘tool’ of human beings.  Like the axe, hammer, flint and steel, or fire, its value depends on how it is used and whom it serves.

Tools should benefit the people who live within a community.

Where It Began

What began as a small side hustle alongside a career as a California Highway Patrol motor officer grew from one simple observation…the quiet understanding shared by people who spend time together training, executing a personally designed strategy for use in competition  against others.  In my case this was in the ocean.

Surfers understand this instinctively.

• You paddle out at your home break.
• You recognize familiar faces with a nod.
• You look out for one another in the lineup.

Overtime, those shared moments become something more, a bond.

 Trust.

 Respect.

 Community.

That simple idea eventually grew beyond surfing.

Today, Surf-Connection brings that same spirit to every community we build—helping people find their place, share what they’ve learned, support one another, and leave the path a little better for those who follow.
